Happy Holidays to All!!!
Suzy Snowflake
"Suzy Snowflake" is a song written by Sid Tepper and Roy C. Bennett, made famous by Rosemary Clooney in 1951. It is commonly regarded as a Christmas song, although it makes no mention of the holiday. The child-oriented lyrics celebrate the fun of winter, with a snowstorm characterized as a playful girl named Suzy Snowflake. A cartoon-short based upon the song was also made in 1953 by Centaur Productions where the stop-motion animation was created by Wah Ming Chang.

Goodbye, dear friend Ray. All those memories float in of the 60s playing in the 'hood, being boys, living right across the street. Our parents were friends as were all the people around. The Petersons, The Fosters, The Zinks, The Johnsons, The McHughs, The Gerhausers, The Schicks, on and on- All went to Rugby, Glanzman and ended up at Bowsher, a '67 Rebel.

Hola, I used to call you Becky and the boys said it would be cool if we were married you would be Becky Beck! Hope you are well. I have lived here for years in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the love of my life. I dedicate my life to writing entertainment articles on many shows held here, restaurants and the chefs and food and life information in our part of this town. Just added Gardening and Local Plants and Flowers. Never quit.
Gary was a good buddy of mine at Bowsher. We shared a bunch of classes and also an atttude toward life. He was a good man.
We sure had some good times and with her brother. She grew into health care giving of herself daily. Hasta la vista.

Well, I am still alive. Salmonella didn't get me, now I have CoronaVirus to watch. I am high risk, top5%: 70yo+, history of lung and heart problems, pulmonary hypertension and a few others. My end could be near and no party to attend. Show season came to an abrupt end. I only lost five shows so am pleased this mess did not happen earlier! Some groups are conducting Facebook concerts online. I will try to figure out how it works.
The town is shut down 75%. Most restaurants closed except takeout, all bars and shops which are not essential, streets empty, traffic low. The airport is packed one direction...out. Set record for most departing people in one day. Canadians in particular changed flights due to fears of able to enter Canada or suffered flight cancelations. Most people I know are hunkered inside, maybe taking a short solo walk. TG Costco was open. Went Fri. AM. Not sure if La Comer delivers from their deli - if it is even still operating. Unsure of Costco's plans but their stock was full. I never saw so much TP for sale in one place. An entire row of the 12-packs. I have enough meds since I stocked up for two months.
Cleaning drawers and closets. We had a brownout and needed to move a cord. I am stuck due to contact - not wanting to order eyeglasses from Costco nor have teeth cleaned right now. Won't need white shinies. My friends whom I see, which are not numerous, stay six feet max apart. I have a bottle of portable cleaner to take anywhere with me along with a couple of wipes for my hands and face.
I am curious about how you are coping and what is affecting your daily life.
